Day 1 · Arrive in Tashkent

Meet your arranged driver and transfer to the hotel. Keep the first day for rest, a relaxed meal and a short neighbourhood walk if your arrival time allows. Agree the next morning’s meeting time with your guide.

Overnight: Tashkent. Early check-in is a request until the hotel confirms it; an overnight flight may require an extra booked night.

Day 2 · Old Tashkent, then Samarkand

Spend the morning at Hazrat Imam, with an introduction to Kaffal Shashi and the ensemble’s places of worship and learning. Leave time for lunch, luggage collection and the station transfer. Take a suitable confirmed afternoon train to Samarkand and settle into your hotel.

Overnight: Samarkand. Choose the train before fixing the sightseeing times. A particular manuscript display is subject to confirmed current access.

Day 3 · Imam al-Bukhari and Shah-i-Zinda

Set aside the morning for the Imam al-Bukhari memorial in the Samarkand region, including the road transfers and a guided introduction to the scholar’s legacy. After a lunch and rest break, visit Shah-i-Zinda at an unhurried pace. Discuss the difference between documented history and local devotional tradition.

Overnight: Samarkand. Confirm admission arrangements at the renewed Imam al-Bukhari complex for your travel date. Shah-i-Zinda has steps and uneven surfaces; tailor the walk to your group.

Day 4 · Samarkand heritage, then Bukhara

Choose a focused morning visit to Registan or Gur-e-Amir. Your guide can connect the monument with Samarkand’s wider history without filling the day with stops. Continue to Bukhara on your confirmed train; include a station-to-hotel transfer and a quiet evening.

Overnight: Bukhara. Keep luggage and transfer time in the plan. Add a Samarkand night if you want both monuments and a fuller city visit.

Day 5 · Bahauddin Naqshband and old Bukhara

Travel outside the old city to the Bahauddin Naqshband memorial. Allow time for its scholarly and Sufi context, personal reflection and a break. Return for lunch and a gentle walk around the historic centre, choosing the Poi Kalon area or Lyabi Hauz to suit your pace.

Overnight: Bukhara. This day includes one principal regional memorial. A complete Seven Pirs journey needs its own agreed programme and extra time.

Day 6 · Travel west to Khiva

Dedicate this day to the Bukhara–Khiva journey. Select an available train or an agreed private road transfer for your dates, with meal and rest stops appropriate to the service. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy a quiet evening.

Overnight: Khiva. Treat this as a substantial transfer day. No high-speed service, exact journey time or same-day sightseeing is promised.

Day 7 · Within the walls of Itchan Kala

Explore Khiva’s historic inner city on foot. Make the Pahlavan Mahmud memorial a main focus, with time to learn about the poet and revered local figure. Continue to the Juma Mosque and selected courtyards when open, with a lunch break and free time before an evening stroll.

Overnight: Khiva. Agree which admissions are included. Some interiors and monuments have separate access arrangements; uneven paving may affect the walking route.

Day 8 · Return to Tashkent

Transfer to Urgench airport for a domestic flight to Tashkent if a suitable service is confirmed. After arrival, transfer to the hotel and leave the rest of the day flexible. This city overnight gives the international departure its own day.

Overnight: Tashkent. Do not book around an assumed flight. If the date needs a rail or road alternative, extend or revise the itinerary rather than compressing this day.

Day 9 · Depart from Tashkent

Transfer to the airport for your international flight. Take home a journey that connects Uzbekistan’s living religious heritage with four distinct historic cities.

Departure day. Ask about a longer Bukhara stay or a slower route if your group would value fewer hotel changes.

Make this journey your own

Add nights in Bukhara for a fuller Seven Pirs programme or in Khiva for a slower pace. If a suitable Urgench–Tashkent flight is unavailable, request a longer programme using the transport that can actually be booked.

Share your dates, departure city, number and ages of travellers, preferred guide language, room arrangement, walking needs and budget range. Allow pauses for prayer, meals and rest. Ask for extra nights if you prefer a slower pace.
